Ali & Tyler’s Elegant Summer Garden Wedding at Mildale Farm
When the wedding day for this down-to-earth and friendly duo arrived, it was filled with nothing but good luck and love! I say that because, up until just about five minutes before Ali and Tyler were scheduled to have their first look, it rained. And, what could’ve been a 100-degree day with no breeze ended up being a beautiful 80-degree summer day—perfect for a celebration in the Midwest.
Having gotten engaged in Italy, they found a way to weave in some unique Tuscan design elements into their elegant summer garden-themed day. Not to mention, they focused on savoring time with their loved ones in the midst of what could be a very busy day for any bride and groom.
From moments with their nine flower girls to two memorable first looks (one with the father of the bride and another with the groom), and a gathering with the bridal party in Mildale Farm’s estate house before kicking off the evening’s events, Ali and Tyler were truly surrounded by a fun-loving, supportive circle of family and friends who were eager to cheer them on—from down the aisle to out on the dance floor!
But, I won’t give too much away as bride Ali shares everything you want and need to know about her and her husband’s soirée at Mildale Farm. And, many thanks to Whitney Kinnison Photography for sharing these perfectly-captured moments with us!
How did you two meet? And, how did he pop the question? Tell us your love story.
Tyler and I met while in college at the University of Arkansas and dated for five years, three of which were long distance. After I graduated from PT school, we took a trip to Italy to celebrate. On our second night, Tyler took me to a private lookout point over Florence, Italy, and proposed with a hidden photographer to capture for our family.
